Initially, it was bred for sports involving bulls, such as the ancient practice of bull-baiting and later rat-baiting, as well as being a companion dog.

Over time, these cruel practices were outlawed, and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier became primarily bred as a companion dog. The breed was officially recognised by the Kennel Club of the United Kingdom in 1935. Since then, it has become popular not only in the UK but also in many other countries around the world, appreciated for its loyalty, courage, and affectionate personality.

Athena Dream is a direct descendant of notable champions, including her father, Zeus Narcos Staffturk, from Bullscaff, and her grandfather, Ch.PL-LT, JCh.LT Sandastaff Piro, from Sama Slodycz at Bullscaff. Zeus, recognized for his unique lineage and old-school bully type quality, is a distinctive addition to our breeding team. Meanwhile, Sandastaff Piro, known as the Champion and the World's Most Favorite Blue Stud Dog, boasts an impressive pedigree of 41 champions in his five-generation lineage.

Athena Dream embodies the best of her lineage in both appearance and structure. Standing at 17 inches tall, she boasts a solid dark blue coat. Her structure is robust and compact, featuring an athletic build, well-defined head, and short muzzle, typical traits of the breed.

Ensuring the continuation of excellence in her lineage, Athena Dream is genetically tested and free of L2HGA and HC-HSF4, as evidenced by DNA testing. Her Coefficient of Inbreeding (CoI) of 11.0% is below the breed average, ensuring her health and vitality.
